Model Railroading, At It's Best.

I have been modeling since I was old enough to hold a razor blade and earn 10 cents from my dad for cutting the lawn to buy a tube of glue. I can remember the old Varney car kits with pressed paper sides and wooden floors and zamac trucks. The locos were in kit form only and took hours to build and only seconds for the valve gear to bind up and bend the side rods. Anyway I guess I have a good feel for the hobby and hope you will find the pleasure the hobby has given me over the years.

I have built several layouts over the years and I would like to share my experience in modeling various buildings and structures. I have had good results in using the old skills of CARD MODELING. I thought some of you may just want to give it a try. Forming objects from paper is as old as paper itself and dates back to the Pharoh's of Egypt. Today however with the graphics of the computer age we can produce some pretty interesting models for our railroads. This site is intended to show you what can be done. I have a HO layout that you can see on the following pages that has a number of structures. I just started a small N-scale layout and have saved the buildings to share with you. Look them over to see if anything sparks an interest.
